OOPS!  I’m late with the freebies I know!  My son turns TWO tomorrow (we are having his party tomorrow as well) and I am up to my ears in birthday stuff… finally got all the gifts wrapped last night.  I decided to take some with us to the party and leave some here he can open later.

Things are coming along with the NEW SITE with only a few glitches, so I am hoping it will GO LIVE around mid-July.  You do not want to miss this!  We will be celebrating by having a HUGE LAUNCH PARTY and I will give you a little teaser… we already have over THIRTY sponsors which means lots and lots of giveaways to be won (this is some good stuff folks!).

If you have a book, product, etc that you want to promote during the launch party with a review and giveaway, email me.  I won’t have time to read & review books for the launch party, but if you are an author, I’d love to add it to my reading list and could do the review after I’ve had a chance to read it.  Just a note – all products, books, etc must be family oriented / family friendly.  There is a chance I will need to close the sponsors list (any that come in after I did would have the review and giveaway spotlighted after the launch party), but I haven’t yet, so there’s still time.

Anyhoo…. Enough with all that… let’s get some free stuff!!!!

I received the following email from Brian and wanted to pass it along to you:

I’m not sure if this is a perfect match, but I see that you’ve made a few posts about ShopRite, trying to help people save money.  Every month at ShopRite.MyBaby.com we have a contest where the users can win a $100 ShopRite gift card by posting a photo or a tip.  Currently we don’t get that many entries, so your users would have a pretty good shot at winning some free groceries.

We are also looking for new people to post money / time saving tips on our site.

I just left Target…  Of course you can always get good buys with Target’s clearance, but the infant and toddler’s clothing are 30% off the clearance price.  Pieces that were clearanced at $1.98 were $1.39.  I don’t know how long the additional markdowns will last, so if this interests you, I’d get in there while it is still in effect and before everything clears out.  The registers ARE NOT taking it off automatically, so make sure the cashier takes it off manually.  My cashier mentioned it as soon as she began to ring up the first piece.  She rang them all up, then went back through and manually took the 30% off each piece.  Happy Shopping!!
