Do you, or someone you know, dabble in creating graphics?  I am looking to have two sizes of logos (both able to fit in a sidebar) created for the purpose of linking back to my blog.  I’m looking for something pretty, girly, with a girly or whimsical font.

In exchange for the graphics, I would do a spotlight post on you and show further examples of your work and a link to your site to gain you further exposure.  If you are interested, please email me.

Lots of THANKS in advance!!

Menu Plan Monday

MONDAY: Sun. Roast Chicken, corn, green beans, carrots
TUESDAY: Grilled Cheese Sandwiches & Soup
WEDNESDAY: Veggie Dinner
THURSDAY: Breakfast for dinner
FRIDAY: Mac-n-Cheese w/Ground Beef, Veggie on side
SATURDAY: Roast Flav. Rice Casserole, Corn-on-the-cob
SUNDAY: Dinner @ In-Laws?
This looks a lot like last week’s menu b/c we ended up not doing some of it last week.  Certain meals I only plan to make if my hubby isn’t working and of course if we are home.  If we go into “the city”, we tend to just get something while we are out.  When it is just my son and I, I usually opt for very simple fare.  Even though we often sway from it, setting up the menu plan has really helped.
I found a blank printable April calendar here.  Going to try writing the menu plan on the calendar page and putting it on the fridge for easy reference.

I am quite proud of my little shopping excursion to Target, if I do say so myself!

There were some items I did not get from the list… mostly because they were out.  The Zout did not have the hangtag coupons, so I passed over that.  I could not locate the small milk carton boxes of Goldfish and the small bags @ the register were 99 cents, so not a freebie there (I did get 2 bags though and used the $1 off 2 coupon).  The Totino pizza rolls deal was only on the 3-meat variety and those were sold out.  I could not locate any of the clearance Oreos or Teddy Grahams, so I figured those were long gone.  Could not locate the Flat Earth chips, but I may not have looked good enough for that.  They did not sell the Big Red drink (free w/ 2 doz eggs) that I could see, so I passed on the eggs for now, even though they were $1.50/dz.  I skipped on the Food Ave cookies too – actually didn’t even print those coupons.

Here is a rundown of what I purchased:

(6) J&J shampoo trial sz @ 89 cents each

(6) All S&M detergent, trial sz @ $1 each

(2) Clean & Clear face cleaner @ 97 cents each

(1) Tylenol, 8 ct @ 97 cents

(2) Green Giant boxed veggies @ $1.34 each

(6) Temptations cat treats @ $1.69 each

(6) J&J Buddies easy grip soap @ 94 cents each

(1) All fabric sheets, trial sz (no coupon) @ 99 cents

(7) Huggies soft pack wipes, 16 ct @ 99 cents each

(29) Joint Juice bottles, 16.9 oz @ $1 (Yep! 29 LOL!!)

(12) Huggies Cleanteam Wipes, tubs @ $2.39 each

The subtotal was about $115.

After coupons, it was $4.81 plus $7.12 sales tax, which came to a grand total of……………
